Top 100 YA Books - Voted.

I decided to post about my thoughts on the voted list of the Top 100 YA Books. (I stole this from Sharon and Nicole). It's really sad how I haven't read a LOT of these books.

100. Hate List by Jennifer Brown - I've been meaning to read this one for ages!
99. Abhorsen Trilogy by Garth Nix - haven't read
98. A Northern Light by Jennifer Donnelly - haven't read
97. Among The Hidden by Margaret Peterson Haddix - LOVE this series, though I still need to read the last book!
96. Bllood and Chocolate by Annette Curtis Claus - haven't read
95. Forever by Judy Blume - haven't read
94. The Goose Girl by Shannon Hale - I love this book. I think it should be up a little higher on this list
93. Tithe by Holly Black - It was good....
92. Living Dead Girl by Elizabeth Scott - been meaning to read!
91. Wings by Aprillynne Pike - I've heard mixed things about this one, but haven't read it myself yet
90. An Abundance of Katherines by John Green - haven't read
89. Angus, Thongs And Full Frontal Snogging by Louise Rennison - they are awesome! tales of a teenage British girl :)

27. The Outsiders by SE Hinton - I need to actually read this one. We listened to it on audio tape in class, and I couldn't stand it. The audio tape might have had something to do with it.

10. Chronicles of Narnia by CS Lewis - haven't read
9. A Wrinkle In Time series by Madeline L'engle - haven't read - but I've been meaning too
8. Graceling series by Kristin Cashore - Graceling was good, Fire was amazing
7. Percy Jackson And The Olympians by Rick Riordan - haven't read
6. Nick And Norah's Infinite Playlist by Rachel Cohn and David Levithan - haven't read
5. Pride And Prejudice by Jane Austen - One word: AMAZING
4. To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee Pretty good
3. Twilight series by Stephanie Meyer While I do love this series an awful lot, I don't think they belong in slot #3 with books like Vampire Academy and The Iron King behind them. These books definately belong on this list, and probably closer to the top than farther away, but not #3
2. Harry Potter series by JK Rowling - I can't even describe these books, says the girl who has read the series like 26 times :D
1. The Hunger Games series by Suzanne Collins - I honestly have no read these yet. *hides*

I've been meaning to read a lot of them! Read Hunger Games as soon as you can, it totally deserves the #1 spot in my opinion.

Interesting list, though I'd say it is pretty subjective. and where is sara zarr? or am I just blind? :) once you start reading the hunger games, you can't stop, so have fun :)
