Waiting on Wednesday (94) - Blood Wounds by Susan Beth Pfeffer

Waiting on Wednesday is a topic brought to life by Jill over at Breaking the Spine. With Waiting On Wednesday you get to introduce to everyone upcoming books you're excited about!

Blood Wounds by Susan Beth Pfeffer
Coming September 12 from Harcourt Children's Books

Willa is lucky: She has a loving blended family that gets along. Not all families are so fortunate. But when a bloody crime takes place hundreds of miles away, it has an explosive effect on Willa’s peaceful life. The estranged father she hardly remembers has murdered his new wife and children, and is headed east toward Willa and her mother.
Under police protection, Willa discovers that her mother has harbored secrets that are threatening to boil over. Has everything Willa believed about herself been a lie? As Willa sets out to untangle the mysteries of her past, she keeps her own secret—one that has the potential to tear her family apart.
I am really excited for this one - I think it sounds simply fantastic! What are you guys waiting on this week?

omg, not even kidding i live in fear of this happening to me every day. my father is a psychopath (not a killer....that i know of at least, yikes) and i'm scared everyday that he will come after me because he hates me and is mentally ill. he also hates the rest of my family too, and they feel the same way, so it's not just me being paranoid. wow... yeah, not sure if i can read this one. i love susan but.... yeah. way too real for me.
