Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten YA Books I'd Recommend To Someone Who Doesn't Read YA

Harry Potter by JK Rowling

This is pretty much a given, but I feel it's one of those books that has just some quality about it that appeals to everyone, regardless of what you read.

Angelfire by Courtney Allison Moulton

Angelfire is a brilliant urban fantasy - and while it is YA, it definitely has a super unique tone about it and has some kick-ass fight scenes. It is sure to be a favorite.

Anything Jennifer Echols

Her books have some addictive quality about them, so if you haven't read YA, they're a great way to dive in, as they are just wonderful.

Sea by Heidi R Kling

I absolutely love this book and I just think it is a really worthy story to tell.

The Goose Girl by Shannon Hale

This is another one of those books that I think regardless of what you read, you can't help but to appreciate the charm behind this one.

Ella Enchanted by Gail Carson Levine

My reasoning for this one is identical to The Goose Girls' - I just adore this one and think it has such charm that it would be a great YA for someone who doesn't read YA.

Clockwork Prince by Cassandra Clare

I think this series is simply brilliant and definitely is appealing to people with a ton of different tastes.

Brightly Woven by Alexandra Bracken

This book is simply amazing, and I feel everyone, regardless of their typical tastes, needs to read.
