Marvelous Middle Grade Read-a-thon


I just heard about it and I think it is awesome! I love middle grade and I have quite a few on my pile, so I'm using this as my excuse to read them all :) It runs January 2 through January 8! All the details are here. Thanks to Just Deb for hosting!

The two I'm really hoping to get to are: The Book of Wonders by Jasmine Richards and  Promise the Night by Michaela MacColl, but I'm hoping to read at least 5 middle grade titles :)

Second Annual Holiday Readathon



I love readathons! And there is another fabulous one happening from TODAY til Sunday (December 2-4)! It's going to be great :) There's a ton of great mini challenges going on throughout the readathon as well. And remember to use #readathon if tweeting about it. Sunday (4th) there will be a Twitter Party at 9pm est, how fun is that? Find out all the details here.

I am going to be donating one book to my library for every book I read over the weekend. My goal is going to be at least one book a day (I'm not sure I'll be able to do more, I have a lot going on with the semester ending).

Impromptu Readathon!

I am WAY behind on reading (Thanks College!) and April is hosting an Impromptu Readathon and I am SO in! It starts tonight and goes til the 3rd.

I'm hoping to finish:

Disgrace by JM Coetzee (For Class)
The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde (For Class) (I've already read this one once, but am rereading for this class)

And who knows what else, but I'll be lucky if I can even get through all that with all my homework and what not.

I Heart S&S Read A Thon


So Muggle-Born.Net is hosting a S&S read-a-thon. The goal - read as many S&S books as possible in the month of June. You can find more info here. I thought that was pretty awesome - as I'm a huge Simon and Schuster fan. Sounds like total fun! My goal is going to be at least 10 S&S Books.
