Cover Reveal: Unbreak My Heart by Melissa Walker

I am SO excited to help reveal Melissa Walker's cover for her newest book: Unbreak My Heart.

So here it is ....

Isn't it purdy? I quite love it! It will be out May 22! I can't wait for it - after Small Town Sinners, Melissa Walker has become a favorite author of mine :) And here's a bit about the book in case you haven't heard :)

Sophomore year broke Clementine Williams’ heart. She fell for her best friend’s boyfriend and long story short: he’s excused, but Clem is vilified and she heads into summer with zero social life.

Enter her parents’ plan to spend the summer on their sailboat. Normally the idea of being stuck on a tiny boat with her parents and little sister would make Clem break out in hives, but floating away sounds pretty good right now.

Then she meets James at one of their first stops along the river. He and his dad are sailing for the summer and he’s just the distraction Clem needs. Can he break down Clem’s walls and heal her broken heart?

Told in alternating chapters that chronicle the year that broke Clem’s heart and the summer that healed it, Unbreak My Heart is a wonderful dual love story that fans of Sarah Dessen, Deb Caletti, and Susane Colasanti will flock to.

Doesn't it sound lovely?

Cover Reveal: Chosen Ones by Tiffany Truitt

I am super excited to be part of the cover reveal for Tiffany Truitt's Chosen Ones!

I quite like the cover - it's so dramatic and gorgeous. Now here's a bit about the book.

What if you were mankind’s last chance at survival?
Sixteen-year-old Tess lives in a compound in what was once the Western United States, now decimated after a devastating fourth World War. But long before that, life as we knew it had been irrevocably changed, as women mysteriously lost the ability to bring forth life. Faced with the extinction of the human race, the government began the Council of Creators, meant to search out alternative methods of creating life. The resulting artificial human beings, or Chosen Ones, were extraordinarily beautiful, unbelievably strong, and unabashedly deadly.

Life is bleak, but uncomplicated for Tess as she follows the rigid rules of her dystopian society, until the day she begins work at Templeton, the training facility for newly created Chosen Ones. There, she meets James, a Chosen One whose odd love of music and reading rivals only her own. The attraction between the two is immediate in its intensity—and overwhelming in its danger.

But there is more to the goings-on at Templeton than Tess ever knew, and as the veil is lifted from her eyes, she uncovers a dark underground movement bent not on taking down the Chosen Ones, but the Council itself. Will Tess be able to stand up to those who would oppress her, even if it means giving up the only happiness in her life?

Bloodborn by Karen Kincy Cover Reveal!

I am super duper excited to be able to share Bloodborn by Karen Kincy's cover with all of you! Now, I absolutely loved Other (See my review) and book 2, Bloodborn comes out this September and I am counting down the days 'til it is out.

Here's a bit about Bloodborn (via Goodreads):

It isn’t working. The doctor said it would, but it isn’t, even though I keep taking the pills, and I keep seeing Dad sneak into the bathroom and count how many are left. As if I would stop taking them. As if I would let myself become a beast.

Brock Koeman lost his brother to werewolves. Now he’s in danger of losing himself. Bitten by a werewolf at sixteen, he fights the transformation, taking the excruciating pain as a punishment for his mistakes. With the help of a risky drug called Lycanthrox, he’s managed to stay human for two full moons. But he knows he can’t last much longer.
Hungry for revenge, Brock vows to kill the silver wolf who bit him. But Brock’s ex, the fiery Cynthia Lopez, still cares about him enough not to let him do anything suicidally dangerous—never mind that Cyn gets her thrills from danger herself. Together again, the heat between them rekindles, but Brock feels like a beast beside her beauty. He can’t stay with her; he can’t ignore the werewolves howling outside his window. When he hunts down the pack, Cyn doesn’t sit on the sidelines. She’s right beside him as they get taken hostage and start running with the werewolves, the police hot on their tails. Brock has to get a grip on who he truly is—before the wolf within kills him, or someone else does.

NOW! The cover...

Isn't it fabulous?

Shadow Hills Papberback Cover Reveal + Contest!

Shadow Hills by Anastasia Hopcus was released on hardcover in July by Egmont USA. How cool is that? I am so excited to see the full cover - I absolutely loved the book, and it got a 5 star review from me here. I'm super pumped!

Here is the bit for this stop:

Haven't heard of Shadow Hills? Here's a bit about it:
After her sister Athena's tragic death, it's obvious that grief-stricken Persephone "Phe" Archer no longer belongs in Los Angeles. Hoping to make sense of her sister's sudden demise and the cryptic dreams following it, Phe abandons her bubbly LA life to attend an uptight East Coast preparatory school in Shadow Hills, MA -- a school which her sister mysteriously mentioned in her last diary entry before she died.

Once there, Phe quickly realizes that something is deeply amiss in her new town. Not only does Shadow Hills' history boast an unexplained epidemic that decimated hundreds of its citizens in the 1700s, but its modern townies also seem eerily psychic, with the bizarre ability to bend metal. Even Zach -- the gorgeous stranger Phe meets and immediately begins to lust after -- seems as if he is hiding something serious. Phe is determined to get to the bottom of it. The longer she stays there, the more she suspects that her sister's untimely death and her own destiny are intricately linked to those who reside in Shadow Hills.

The trivia question for this stop is:

13. What time of day does Phe have her dreams?

If more than one people answer the question right, I will use random.org to pick a winner. NO ANSWERS IN COMMENTS.

There are 2 stops each day, totalling to a reveal of 12 days. The other stop for today is http://meow_mix85.blogspot.com/. The cover will be posted on November 20th, on Anastasia Hopcus's site

Make sure to check out www.sithereandread.com and www.candacesreadingblog.blogspot.com for tomorrow's two clues!

Cover Reveal: The Near Witch by Victoria Schwab

So, I am SO excited for Victoria Schwab's The Near Witch. It is one of the books I am most looking forward to in 2011! I have been super psyched about it since I heard about it. AND the cover was just revealed in this snazzy video! I am in love with the cover. YAY for pretty covers :)

Watch the video below or go to the direct link here!

Here's more about The Near Witch:

"The Near Witch is only an old story told to frighten children.
If the wind calls at night, you must not listen. The wind is lonely, and always looking for company.
There are no strangers in the town of Near.

These are the truths that Lexi has heard all her life. But when an actual stranger—a boy who seems to fade like smoke—appears outside her home on the moor at night, she knows that at least one of these sayings is no longer true.

The next night, the children of Near start disappearing from their beds, and the mysterious boy falls under suspicion. Still, he insists on helping Lexi search for them. Something tells her she can trust him.

As the hunt for the children intensifies, so does Lexi’s need to know—about the witch that just might be more than a bedtime story, about the wind that seems to speak through the walls at night, and about the history of this nameless boy.

Part fairy tale, part love story, Victoria Schwab’s debut novel is entirely original yet achingly familiar: a song you heard long ago, a whisper carried by the wind, and a dream you won’t soon forget."

Doesn't THAT sound even lovelier? I think it sounds absolutely enchanting. It is now up for pre-order as well, so if you want you can pre-order on Amazon. I know I'll be pre-ordering soon!
